The 100 fans won’t have to worry about saying goodbye to their favorite series any time soon — the hit sci-fi show has officially been picked up for a sixth season!

According to TV Line, The CW revealed on Monday (May 7) night that The 100 has been renewed for season 6.

News of the renewal comes hot off the heels of the series’ season 5 premiere, which made its grand debut just a few weeks ago.

Though the series never fails to pack a punch, season 5 has the added element of a six year time jump, which has definitely been making for some interesting storytelling so far — especially given where all our favorite characters have ended up after the huge nuclear death wave swept over Earth at the tail end of last season.

The 100 is one of 11 series to get picked up for The CW’s 2018-2019 season.

Back at the beginning of April, we learned that the network had given early renewals to Arrow, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, The Flash, Riverdale, Supergirl, Supernatural, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and Jane the Virgin.

Along with the early renewals, the network also revealed that they’d be making a decision with regards to The 100, iZombie, Life Sentence and Valor in May.

While The 100’s renewal might not come as a huge shock, we’re sure fans far and wide will still be celebrating over the official word that we’ll be getting another season of the series next year!

The 100 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
