The CW has given early renewals to 10 series, including Supernatural and all five DC series. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend‘s renewal is for a final season.
Nearly the entire lineup for The CW has been renewed for the 2018-19 season: Arrow (season 7), Black Lightning (season 2), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (season 4), Legends of Tomorrow (season 4), Dynasty (season 2), The Flash (season 5), Jane the Virgin (season 5), Riverdale (season 3), Supergirl (season 4) and Supernatural (season 14).
The CW will decide the fates of The 100, iZombie, Life Sentence and Valor in May.
“As The CW expands to a six-night, Sunday through Friday schedule next season, we are proud to have such a deep bench of great returning series for 2018-19,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz.
“By picking these ten series up for next season, we have a terrific selection of programming to choose from when we set our fall schedule in May, with more still to come. And I’m especially happy that we’ll continue to work with the incredibly talented casts, producers, and writers who create the series our fans are so passionate about.”
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend creator and star Rachel Bloom confirmed via Twitter that season 4 will be the musical’s last:

Meanwhile, Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez has hinted that season 5 would be that series’ final bow. Per Variety, Rodriguez said at a Women To Watch panel in March that after directing an episode of Jane in season 4, she has plans to “do more [directing] next year — in our final season.” The CW has not confirmed that the series is ending, though.
