The conclusion to Clem’s story in Telltale’s The Walking Dead final season will start up again with episode 3 soon enough.

Speaking in an AMA on Reddit, Ian Howe, the CEO of Skybound Games, had the following to say about the Telltale’s The Walking Dead final season release schedule. “OK, given that you guys have been so supportive and patient, I’m going out on a limb and will say yes, I fully expect Episode 3 to be this year and I’ll be very disappointed if we can’t make that happen. and what happens after I type a response like this, is that the PR people run into my office and try and take away my computer so I don’t say anything else :)”

It seems as though Skybound is trying their best to smooth over the bumps as they take over Telltale’s The Walking Dead final season production, which includes bringing in the original team behind the project.

“The plan is for it to be staffed 100% by former Telltale staff, the only time we’d look elsewhere is if we can’t fill a particular role from former TT people,” says Howe. This comes as welcome news for those concerned with for the employees that were let go without severance when Telltale’s The Walking Dead final season seemed to be canceled.
