Taylor Swift teased fans with a clip from “Red,” the title track off her upcoming fourth studio album.

The “Love Story” singer will be previewing songs off her new album every Monday on Good Morning America until its release Oct. 22.

“I wrote this song about the fact that somethings are just hard to forget because the emotions involved with them were so intense, and to me intense emotion is red,” Swift said as she introduced the clip of the most country-inspired song she’s released from Red so far.

“Losing him was blue like I’d never known./ Missing him was dark grey, all alone./ Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met,/ But loving his was red,” the 22-year-old sings in the teaser.

Last week, Swift previewed “Begin Again,” a slower, more lyrically powerful song than her lead single and chart topper “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” As there are two weeks left until Red makes its debut, expect to hear two more songs in the coming weeks.

Red follows 2010′s Speak Now, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart and won the 2011 American Music Award for Favorite Country Album.

“Red,” the song, will be on iTunes at midnight Tuesday. Find out what other albums drop this month – including new music from Muse and Ellie Goulding – in our October 2012 Album Preview.
