Taylor Swift is hard at work re-recording some of her old material, and she’s just revealed which of her older singles she’s had the most fun returning to thus far!

Taylor Swift is coming off of a fantastic 2020 but the pop star clearly isn’t ready to slow down just yet.

The “Cardigan” crooner popped in to Good Morning America on Wednesday (November 25) to talk about everything from scoring six Grammy nominations to surprise releasing a brand new intimate concert special on Disney+.

In addition to chatting about the 2021 Grammys and Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, Swift also squeezed in a question about how the process of rerecording her older music has been going.

As Swifties know all too well, following a heated feud with Scooter Braun, Scott Borchetta, and Big Machine over the rights to her masters through Reputation, Swift announced plans to begin rerecord music from her first five albums beginning in November 2020.

True to her word, Swift has, in fact, been hard at work re-recording her old material, and thanks to a question sent in by a fan, we now know that specifically, the Lover singer has been having the most fun rerecording “Love Story” from her 2008 album Fearless.

“So far, of the ones I’ve rerecorded, I think it’s been the most fun doing ‘Love Story’ because the older music, my voice was so teenaged and sometimes, when I hear my olde music and my older young teenage voice, it makes me feel like I’m a different singer now,” Swift told Good Morning America. “So it’s been the most fun to re-record ones that I feel like I could actually possibly improve upon the song.”

Taylor Swift has yet to clue fans in on when we might expect her to drop the re-recorded material, but it’s still exciting to know that she’s in the process of doing so.

We can’t wait to find out which other tracks she’s been re-rerecording from her first five albums!
