For eight seasons of Supernatural, we’ve watched the Winchesters save people and hunt things. You know, the family business. If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the past eight years, it’s that we love Dean Winchester. So much.
Over the years, Supernatural has introduced us to so many interesting characters, but it’s the show’s core characters that we care about most of all. We’ve essentially watched the Winchester brothers grow up and have been invested in their lives since they were little. After all, the pilot begins by showing us one of the most traumatic nights of their lives. The night that changed everything. From then on, we’ve been on the Winchesters’ side.
While we love both Winchester brothers, there has just always been something about Dean Winchester that has demanded our attention. He makes us laugh with every joke he cracks, and he breaks our hearts every time he tears up. Yes, he makes mistakes, but we love him for it.
