Netflix’s Stranger Things season 3 hits us with a burst of nostalgia in the first teaser for the upcoming episodes.

A “commercial” for the Starcourt Mall — a new addition to the town of Hawkins, Indiana — depicts stores like The Gap, Radio Shack, Zales, Claire’s, Jazzercise (!), and Wicks ‘N’ Sticks opening up for the locals’ pleasure. It looks like it’ll be the place to hang out in Hawkins!

We only get one direct connection to the show in this 90-second infomercial: Steve is working at Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream Parlor. And while this isn’t a traditional trailer for Stranger Things 3, it does suggest that the Starcourt Mall will be an important part of the plot when the new episodes are released later this year.

Netflix might be releasing this now ahead of some news during San Diego Comic-Con, though at this time nothing is confirmed.

Interestingly, the very end of the video says that the Starcourt Mall is coming “next summer,” which might suggest Stranger Things 3 isn’t coming until summer 2019. Could it possibly be that long of a wait? The first two seasons aired at the end of 2016 and 2017 respectively.
