Sense8 season 3 may be in the pipeline! Creator Lana Wachowski and actors Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt and Brian J. Smith were all a part of a Facebook Live Q&A this weekend, and Lana let slip a little secret about season 3.
While they were attending Vancouver Pride over the weekend Wachowski and the men of Sense8 answered fan questions, made teases and revealed new information during their live Q&A session.
It was an exciting session, but most exciting was the part where Lana revealed she’s already begun writing Sense8 season 3! It’s clear that the fan base’s vocal power and persistence helped bring Sense8 back. So, she’s writing season 3 in the event Netflix decides to order more episodes.

Wachowski also hinted that there is a surprise coming for fans on August 8, which will be the show’s second anniversary.
Could that be the announcement of a Sense8 season 3? We don’t want to get your hopes up, as this online chat was hardly any sort of official discussion, but let’s keep our fingers crossed!
There’s one thing we know for sure: The show is getting a two-hour series finale to send the show off in style. At worst, we’ll get to say goodbye to our favorite show.
