Sense8 star Jamie Clayton is officially heading to Roswell, New Mexico!
It looks like we’ll be seeing a new face around town when Roswell, New Mexico returns to The CW for its highly anticipate second season!
According to Entertainment Weekly, actress Jamie Clayton has officially joined the cast of Roswell, New Mexico season 2.
Clayton joins fellow newcomers Gaius Charles (Friday Night Lights) and Jason Behr (the original Max Evans), both of whom were officially announced to be joining the cast for season 2 at this year’s New York Comic-Con.
Shortly after news broke, series showrunner Carina Aly MacKenize took to Twitter to express her excitement over Jamie Clayton joining the cast.
“Have been trying to get this lady on the show since we got our Season 1 pickup and we finally made it work!” tweeted MacKenzie.
The fact that MacKenzie is so excited to write for Clayton has definitely got us as fans even more excited to meet her character!
And speaking of Clayton’s character, the Sense8 actress specifically, will be playing a character named Agent Grace Powell on Roswell, New Mexico season 2.
Agent Grace Powell find herself traveling to Roswell to investigate a string of disappearances.
Interestingly, it sounds as though she’ll have a personal investment in the case of the missing individuals as well.
As her character’s official synopsis teases, “when someone she loves goes missing, she discovers that the town is home to more buried secrets than she bargained for.”
It sounds as though things are about to get a bit more complicated for Max, Liz and the rest of the gang — especially with Agent Grace Powell on the case.
Even so, we’ll be looking forward to seeing how she fits into the fold of the forthcoming series — even if that might spell trouble for some of our favorite characters!
Unfortunately, fans still have a while to go before new episodes of the hit series hit The CW. Roswell, New Mexico season 2 won’t premiere until March 16, 2020.
