Raven’s Home, the Disney Channel’s hit That’s So Raven revival, is dedicating a special episode to highlighting the risks of a popular trend among today’s youth.

In a press release sent out on Friday (February 21), The Disney Channel revealed that Raven’s Home is gearing up to tackle the hot button issue of vaping amongst today’s youth.

Scheduled to air on Sunday, March 1, the topical episode is set to focus on the risks associated with vaping. The episode also promises to be “especially relevant to kids aged 6-14 and their parents,” and will feature a special message from the cast directly following its conclusion.

Written by Latonya Croff and directed by executive producer/showrunner Warren Hutcherson, the series worked with Hollywood, Health and Society, as well as experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, all of whom served as consultants for the topical episode.

Titled “What About Your Friends,” the topical episode will find Raven’s (Raven-Symone) son, Booker (Ryan Brown) grappling with peer pressure from his new friends who are trying to get him to give vaping a try.

Instead of succumbing to the pressure, Booker declines and warns his new friends about why vaping is so dangerous. Things take a turn, however, when a school official finds a vape pen and Booker is accused of being the pen’s owner.

Booker’s new friends pressure him to try vaping, but he turns them down and warns them about the dangers. They don’t listen and when Coach Spitz finds a vape pen, the boys all claim it belongs to Booker and he is suspended. While a disappointed Raven seeks to understand what’s going on with her son, Booker sets out to clear his name.

Raven’s Home episode 324, “What About Your Friends,” airs Sunday, March 1 on Disney Channel.
