Similar to other mini-series produced by The Pokémon Company, Pokémon: Twilight Wings showcases the beauty of the Galar region.

The story of Pokémon: Twilight Wings follows John as he pursues his dreams of seeing Champion Leon battle in real life.

Young John is in the hospital, but that doesn’t hinder his passion for one day becoming a Pokémon Trainer. As Chairman Rose visits the hospital, John tells friend Tony that the Chairman will bring the sick boy to a Leon battle, but only if John writes the Chairman a letter requesting for him to do so.

Unfortunately, John misses Rose, as a Flying Taxi whisks away the Chairman to other affairs. Then, the Flying Taxi Corviknight senses John’s desperation and turns the cart around to help fulfill the boy’s wishes.

Nearly fainting from exhaustion, John is held up by Corviknight, as Rose observes that Pokémon seem to take a liking to the young boy. The letter gets caught in a breeze, and finds its way into Rose’s hands. As Rose departs, the driver asks Rose if the boy handed the Chairman anything. “Well… pretty good likeness, isn’t it?” responds Rose.

Although he is the main antagonist of the Pokémon Sword and Shield games, we see here that Rose has a warm heart. He is touched by John’s drawing of Leon and Charizard, smiling coyly as he shows off the child’s art.
