Jerry, actually Garry, Gergich and his incredibly good-looking family throw a Christmas party in this week’s episode of Parks and Rec season 5, “Ron and Diane.” Watch the preview video of a “Very Gergich Christmas,” featuring guest star Christie Brinkley as Jerry’s wife.

Last week, we watched as Tom found his long-lost swag (yay), Bert Mackin retired (does that mean no more Mrs. Hitler?), and Leslie agreed to team-up with an Eaglton man to work on creating a new park (we are still wary of this match-up, and we vow to join Leslie in spraying him with shaving cream if another Eagleton attack ensues).

But this week’s installment of Parks and Rec season 5, “Ron and Diane,” is a true Christmas miracle. Not only does it include the following song (watch it and let us know your thoughts), it also features guest stars Christie Brinkley (as Jerry’s wife Gayle), Megan Mullally (reprising her role as Ron’s former wife Tammy II) and Lucy Lawless (as Ron’s new love interest Diane).

The preview of this week’s episode is as follows: The lovable punching bag of the office, Jerry Gergich, hosts a Christmas party, and not everyone in the office is invited (the video hints at who)! Ron, Diane and Leslie attend a wood-working dinner, because one of Ron’s hand-crafted pieces was nominated for an award; but something wicked this way comes: Tammy II is back.

Our hopes for this episode:
–The Christmas party debacle leads everyone to treat Jerry kindly for one day (remember the episode where they had to … priceless).
–We hear his wife, Gayle, actually call Jerry by his real name, “Garry.”
–Chris goes after another one of Jerry’s daughters.
–Tammy II and Diane get in a fist-fight-battle at the wood-working dinner, and the two power-house women brutally go to town! (no deaths requested)

What do you hope for this week’s installment of Parks and Rec season 5?

Now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for: “A Very Gergich Christmas” video: (only Jerry would have a video for Parks and Rec that is mislabeled as a preview for the Office)

Our favorite part? His daughter’s names: Miriam and Gladys. Classic Jerry.
