Parks and Rec season 5 promises a double feature tonight with “Ben and Leslie” at 8:30 p.m. and “Correspondents’ Lunch” at 9. Do we hear wedding bells?! And a potential sperm donor?

Since Parks and Rec season 5 left us on quite a cliffhanger last week: Ben proposed that our favorite couple get married right on the spot at their black tie gala with the whole town in attendance. Will Ben and Leslie get married?? (Without months of planning?? I bet Leslie would be left with dozens of now defunct wedding planning binders.)

According to the abbreviated episode synopsis provided by NBC, the first of tonight’s episodes, “Ben and Leslie,” promises that ” Leslie and Ben have two hours to complete a years-long project.” Is this years-long project a wedding?! Our only hope is that Ben can still convince J.J.’s to cater, so that Leslie can have waffles on her wedding. It would be a shame if she didn’t have her wedding waffles. The only other hint about this episode is that Ron loses his temper … so what else is new?

After the mysterious first episode (WEDDING EPISODE) is over, the second episode, which airs at 9 p.m., is “Correspondents’ Lunch.” At said lunch, Leslie’s carefully worded (probably acronym-laden) speech is stolen, and according to NBC, she will be left “speechless.” We hope they mean this only in the literal sense of the word, because when has Leslie ever been without a classy, witty word on the tip of her tongue?

The big news in “Correspondents’ Lunch” is that Ann will ask a big question of a man. We have been following Ann as she dates herself for the past few episodes, and has decided to have a baby with a sperm donor. Has she found the lucky man? If we were hedging bets, our money would be on Chris: he has excellent physical fitness, a good attitude, and he is incredibly (intensely) passionate about all he does. Who would you guess Ann would ask?

What are your guesses for this week’s double feature? Will Ben and Leslie tie the knot?
