With Orphan Black season 4 returning in three months, news about the new episodes is finally picking up! We’ve got a roundup of all the latest season 4 news for you, including a new trailer and a new clone!

We haven’t gotten an exact date just yet but Orphan Black season 4 will premiere in April this year, much like it has in the past. And speaking of the past, it looks like Sarah and her sisters are going to have to dig into theirs to find out more about what’s going on — according to the trailer, at least!

In the first promo for season 4 we admittedly don’t get a lot of new footage, but it is enough to make us extremely curious! Especially curious: Seeing Kira’s monkey doll being consumed by flames in what we assume is her and Sarah’s home. Why is it on fire, is Kira okay, and what is going to happen to Cosima without Delphine?!

Those are the major questions we have in our mind, and yes, that last one may have nothing to do with the fire. But given last season’s dramatic ending it’s reasonable to be concerned for Cosima, especially since her sickness might be coming back.

And earlier this year we got a peek at a new clone that will be entering the story. Check out her creepy debut below:

Named M.K., this new clone has vital information for the entire cloning conspiracy that has been going on. Yep, you read that right! We now have a clone that holds more answers than even Rachel might, and we can’t wait to see what she forks up. According to show creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson, getting information from M.K. is not going to be nearly as easy.

“[M.K.] comes out of the shadows and for the first time we’re meeting someone who knows more than us,” Manson told EW. “Sarah is meeting a clone who has got more answers than she does, and yet she’s a slippery character.”

Fawcett adds that M.K. is also “quite highly skilled and very smart. And it is interesting as Sarah tries to interact with this character who is almost kind of like a Deep Throat kind of character. What’s very cool about it is this is a clone who has been self-aware for some time.”

You might be wondering, if M.K. is so self-aware, did she know about Sarah and the rest of her sisters? The answer is most definitely yes. However, according to the creators she’s purposefully avoided them to keep herself safe. So we know from that alone that this new clone is well aware of the dangers of being a clone, and she’s all about self-preservation.

But this new clone won’t be in the shadows for long! Fawcett explains, “Sarah is now trying to draw her out of the shadows and trying to utilize the information that she has so that Sarah can follow her own mystery and fill in the blanks and protect Alison and protect Cosima from Neolution. But this girl is very unwilling.”

And if you’re wondering why this unwilling clone is depicted wearing a sheep mask in her debut photos, it’s a reference to the first animal ever cloned: Dolly the sheep.
