Once Upon a Time in Wonderland returns this week with a fresh batch of stills that reveal a familiar face for Once Upon a Time fans!
ABC continues to unravel the mysteries of Wonderland in the present with flashbacks to the world before Alice. On this week’s episode, “Forget Me Not,” it looks as though Will Scarlet, a former member of Robin Hood’s Merry Men, will be the one heading down memory lane. Meanwhile, Alice finds herself in a bit of a tight bind.

It seems that Cyrus may also have a hand in the evil side of things. Just as Alice tricks Will into seeking out their enemy last week, Cyrus ensures that a familiar beast finds Alice. The official synopsis points out some further developments also arriving this week:
In a flashback, viewers are introduced to Will Scarlet, who turns out to be the nifty Knave of Hearts. Will has joined Robin Hood’s Merry Men and convinces them to steal gold from Maleficent’s castle before also pilfering an enchanted looking glass for himself that comes with a hefty consequence. Meanwhile in Wonderland, Cyrus successfully tricks Jafar and the Red Queen into sending a Bandersnatch after Alice who in turn exposes something the White Rabbit has been secretly hiding
Another prominent character will make a cameo in Wonderland, at least in spirit. Kristin Bauer Van Straten will reprise her role as Maleficent, but only as a distant voice, perhaps to yell after Will and the Merry Men.
The theme of this week appears to encompass a mess of evil with the intention of revealing some good. The Knaves’ past may shed some light on his redemptive nature in the present. Speaking of the deeds of the past, it seems that this week will finally reveal the White Rabbit’s debt to the Queen.
