November isn’t just about the presidential election. One Direction, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Alicia Keys and more have set November 2012 release dates for their latest albums.

Nov. 6

Ne-Yo – R.E.D.

An acronym for “Realizing Every Dream,” R.E.D. is Ne-Yo’s fifth studio album, following 2010’s Libra Scale, and has nothing to do with Taylor Swift’s Red. With songs falling under the categories of Pop, R&B and everything in between, Ne-Yo collaborated with Tim McGraw, Calvin Harris and Wiz Khalifa on the 13-track album. Listen to “Let Me Love You” (not the one Mario made famous, but the new single co-written by Sia).

Aerosmith – Music From Another Dimension!

Thirty-nine years and 14 albums later, Aerosmith is still going strong. The Bad Boys from Boston will be celebrating Election Day by releasing their first album in eight years, Music From Another Dimension!, featuring a collab with Carrie Underwood in “Can’t Stop Loving You.”

Nov. 13

One Direction – Take Me Home

The British-Irish band’s follow-up to their 2011 debut album, Up All Night, will feature collaboration with Ed Sheeran, McFly, the songwriters behind “What Makes You Beautiful,” “One Thing,” and more. One Direction has released two very different singles so far, the acoustic ballad “Little Things” and the more lively “Live While We’re Young,” which you can listen to below.

Christina Aguilera – Lotus

After putting her music on the sideburner as a coach on The Voice, Christina Aguilera is back with her fifth English-language album (not including her 2000 Christmas album), Lotus. Featuring duets with Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton and a writing collab with Sia, Lotus is named after “an unbreakable flower that survives under the hardest conditions and still thrives.”

Green Day – ¡Dos!

As the second installment in Green Day’s album trilogy, ¡Dos! will feature 13 new songs. The final chapter in the trilogy, ¡Tre!, is due Dec. 11 – about a month earlier than originally scheduled. The band decided to move up the release date to make up for having to cancel all remaining 2012 shows while frontman Billie Joe Armstrong seeks substance abuse treatment.

Lana Del Rey – Born To Die: Paradise Edition

Lana Del Rey has eight new tracks to share with fans in a repackaging of her debut album, Born To Die, including a cover of “Blue Velvet” and her new single, “Ride.”

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack

Green Day, Ellie Goulding, Passion Pit, Christina Perri and Rosalie actress Nikki Reed and her husband, American Idol alum Paul McDonald, are all contributing to the Twilight Saga‘s final soundtrack. Green Day, who will contribute ¡Tre! track, “The Forgotten,” decided to be part of the album “because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon, and we have always been impressed with the way the Twilight soundtracks are so carefully curated,” Green Day’s Mike Dirnt told Yahoo.

Nov. 19

Rihanna – Unapologetic

With Unapologetic, Rihanna will have released seven albums in seven years. Yes, that means we’re all seven years older than when we first heard Ri-Ri “shake it til the moon becomes the sun” with “Pon de Replay.” The 24-year-old singer will promote her new album with a seven show, seven day, seven country tour starting Nov. 14.

Kelly Clarkson – Greatest Hits: Chapter One

Featuring four new songs, Kelly Clarkson is celebrating 10 years since her American Idol win with her first greatest hits album. Greatest Hits: Chapter One features two country collaborations – one with Jason Aldean in “Don’t You Wanna Stay” and the other with Vince Gill in “Don’t Rush” – as well as “Catch My Breath” and “People Like Us.”

Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up

Soon after premiering her three-part E! series, Nicki Minaj: My Truth, on Nov. 4, the rapper will release Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up. New songs on the expanded album with a “mixtape feel” include, “The Boys” and “Va Va Voom,” along with six other tracks.

Pitbull – Global Warming

Pitbull teams up with Christina Aguilera, The Wanted, Chris Brown, Usher and more on his seventh studio album, Global Warming. Listen to his collab with Shakira, “Get It Started,” below.

Nov. 27

Alicia Keys – Girl On Fire

It sounds like something out of The Hunger Games soundtrack, but Girl On Fire has nothing to do with Katniss Everdeen. It is Alicia Keys’ fifth album following 2009’s The Element of Freedom. “Girl on Fire is about new beginnings, new perspectives and fresh starts,” Keys wrote about the new record on her website.
