The new Teen Wolf trailer suggests that maybe we all should have “stayed in rehab.”

Last night, Teen Wolf’s second half of season 5 premiered on MTV. After its debut a new trailer for season 5B was unveiled. Check it out below:

You thought the season premiere was intense? Just wait.

The trailer opens with a particularly interesting moment.

Last year we left off with the Dread Doctors doing a little remodeling and tearing out a wall of their secret lair. Behind said wall was an image of what we now know to be La Bête du Gévaudanas well as some other unknown entity. (Parrish maybe?)

But in the new trailer we see Scott and Liam pulling away bits of wall, revealing something sickeningly close to the fresco painting Teen Wolf released as a promotional image. Basically, bodies, on bodies, on bodies…

We hear Liam asking, “Who are they?” And Scott saying, “Us.” So if the two images DO match, then things are about to get very meta and intense.

Also in the trailer

“I’m not just a harbinger of death, I’m the cause of it,” says Parrish. His guilt and confusion are clearly taking its toll. And we can’t mention Parrish without bringing up Gerrard as well. As probably one of the least exciting characters to make a return, it does make sense that this super werewolf hunter would be down to help wrangle the beast. But what about his drippy goo face? How human is he still? Do he have a motive here other than taking down this furry foe?
