A new Jessica Jones trailer has been released, offering more insight into the upcoming Marvel/Netflix collaboration.

The new trailer sets an eerie scene for the highly-anticipated series, which will be available for streaming (and binge-watching) on Netflix on Nov. 20.

“A big part of the job is looking for the worst in people,” Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) says in the trailer. “Turns out I excel at that.”

We also get a better look at Mike Colter, who’ll be playing Luke Cage (and is set to have his own spin-off series). And then there’s the mysterious villain Killgrave (David Tennant) the dark side to Jessica’s light (…ish), who is shown terrorizing her and her loved ones. Scary!

The new trailer adds a major push to the marketing for Jessica Jones, which has been relatively low-key so far. After releasing several darkly funny teasers, the Netflix series presented a strong presence at New York Comic Con. At the panel, shared with Marvel’s Daredevil, actors Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Carrie Anne Moss discussed their roles in the upcoming psychological thriller.

In addition, the first episode of Jessica Jones was screened at the panel, and was received very positively by the crowd. Check out our spoiler-free review for more information on the pilot episode.

Marvel has also recently released an eerie “motion poster” for Jessica Jones, which paints a (literal) picture of a blurry, purple-stained Jessica.

The synopsis for Jessica Jones is still light on details, but paints a similar picture to the previous promotional material.

“After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint,” Netflix says, “Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.”

Judging from what we’ve seen that doesn’t go very well.

Jessica Jones arrives on Netflix on Nov. 20.
