Netflix’s GLOW has just added another phenomenal actress to its ranks.

GLOW took to its official Twitter account to officially announce that actress Geena Davis has officially joined the cast of the series’ upcoming third season.

“Viva Las Vegas! Season 3 glows up with newest cast member, Geena Davis,” tweeted the show.

Davis herself helped make the announcement. The Academy Award winner, know for her work in hits like Thelma & Louise and A League of their Own, is featured in a short video Glow used to announce her addition to the cast.

“There’s a new girl in town,” proclaims the glitzy clip before Davis herself appears.

“Viva Las Vegas,” utters Davis with a wink before the video wraps with an announcement for the series’ third season.

So who will Davis be playing when the third season makes its way to Sin City? According to The Hollywood Reporter, she’ll be taking on the role of Sandy Deveraux St. Claire.

Sandy, who used to work as a Las Vegas showgirl, now serves as the entertainment director of the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino.

The Fan-Tan will serve as the main stage for GLOW season 3, which will feature the Gorgeous Ladies of Westling taking center stage as headliners at the hotel.

The series’ second season leaves off with the girls skipping town after their series gets cancelled. We’ll be looking forward to seeing what Sin City has in store for all of our favorite characters when new episodes hit the internet!

GLOW season 3 premieres via Netflix on August 9.
