Cameron, Phil, Claire and Gloria all earned nominations. But best of all is the nomination for Outstanding Performance By An Ensemble in a Comedy Series, because when it comes down to it, they’re a family (a Modern Family).
Modern Family is bedecked with Emmys, and it’s now sweeping SAG nominations. The only question here is why? (And any good fan can tell you.)
The characters are honest, the conflicts aren’t forced and the dialogue is unbeatable. The show has the type of humor that doesn’t just appeal to a niche audience but garners the appreciation of all ages. And most of all, the characters are just lovable.
