X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer has tweeted the first look at Michael Fassbender’s character, Magneto.

Director Bryan Singer has been keeping his Twitter followers salivating for his new film, X-Men: Days of Future Past. He’s constantly tweeted casting announcements, as well as some set photos, but today he released a photo that showed Michael Fassbender on the set of his new X-Men film. We look forward to the film, which is chock-full of all-star cast members, including Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page (Shadowcat), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), and Michael Fassbender (Magneto).

We’ve also learned that Halle Berry will reprise her role as Storm in this movie, giving X-Men fans an extra bolt of excitement to flock to theaters next summer.

Singer has taken an interesting approach to keeping fans informed with the filming of X-Men: Days of Future Past, by tweeting loads of set photos, and although some are difficult to decipher, it definitely gives fans fun tidbits to chew on until the film hits theaters July 18, 2014.
