Let’s go, Little Monsters, let’s go! The newest Lady Gaga single, Stupid Love, has just dropped, along with a patented wild and wonderful music video!

Others artists just aren’t doing it like Lady Gaga is doing it.

Literally, in this case, as the singer’s newest video for “Stupid Love” was shot entirely on the iPhone 11 Pro.

Directed by Daniel Askill, the “Stupid Love” music video seems inspired by the sci-fi B movies of the 50s and 60s. The costumes are bright, bold and colorful, with a vague intergalactic theme to them, with Lady Gaga and her crew dancing, having gladiator style battles against a barren, rocky backdrop.

“I know everyone in the world has different relationships with love, but guess what? I’m pretty sure that when we all decide to be vulnerable, it’s really scary, and I think it’s very scary for a lot of people,” Lady Gaga said in a recent interview. “There’s all kinds of laws and constructs and things that have built all around us and, you know, what I really want to do [is for] this song to come out and I’d love for it to collapse as many of those walls as possible and for people to be saying, ‘I want your stupid love. I love you.'”

“Stupid Love” was announced earlier this week, and is the first single off the pop star’s forthcoming sixth studio album, which is Gaga’s first studio release since her album Joanne dropped all the way back in 2016.

“I want people to dance and feel happy,” Lady Gaga said of her forthcoming album. “Someone asked me the other day what my goal was with this album and it actually sounds ridiculous when I say it out loud, but I said, ‘I would like to put out music that a big chunk of the world will hear, and it will become a part of their daily lives and make them happy every single day.”
