That fans will soon be able to experience the first single off the pop star’s forthcoming sixth studio album is definitely cause for excitement — especially given that Gaga’s last studio release, Joanne, dropped all the way back in 2016.
Four years is a long time to wait for new music, but there’s no denying that the powerhouse vocalist has had her plate full with some pretty exciting projects since then.
In the time since Joanne’s release, Gaga notably made her big screen debut opposite Bradley Cooper in the award show darling music drama, A Star Is Born. The film supplied fans with a soundtrack featuring some new Gaga music— including the likes of juggernaut single, “Shallow,” which went on to win Best Original Song at the 2019 Oscars.
The multifaceted star has also been entertaining fans in Sin City at her Las Vegas residency, which officially kicked off back in December 2018.
In between all of that, she also found time to bless us with an incredible halftime show at the 2017 Super Bowl.
While we’re sure Little Monsters have had a blast watching their pop queen continue to conquer across a variety of stages, there’s no denying the wait for LG6 has been agonizing.
With that in mind, we’ll be incredibly excited to hit play on “Stupid Love” later on this week to get a better feel for what Lady Gaga has in store for us in terms of her next studio album!
”Stupid Love,” the brand new single from Lady Gaga drops at midnight on Friday, February 28.
