Joseph Gordon-Levitt is heading to Showtime for his next starring role.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has officially joined the cast of a brand new anthology series coming down the pipeline at Showtime.

Hailing from the creators of Billions, the new anthology series is titled Super Pumped, and is set to center each season on a different story that made major waves in the world of business, eventually going on to shape the culture.

Season 1 of the forthcoming anthology series will focus on former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and the ride share app’s rise out in Silicon Valley.

Based on the book Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber by Mike Isaac, the series is set to touch on the allegations of sexual harassment against Kalanick, as well as the toxic workplace environment at the company that eventually lead to the Uber co-founder’s ousting.

For his part, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to take on the lead role of Kalanick himself.

Behind the camera, Brian Koppelman and David Levien are set to write and executive produce on the series. Fellow Billions vet Beth Schacter will also serve as an executive producer on the anthology series, in addition to splitting show running duties with Koppleman and Levien.

Other executive producers on the project include Paul Schiff, Stephen Schiff, Allyce Ozarski, as well as author Mike Isaac.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Super Pumped starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt debut via Showtime.
