Here’s something we never knew we needed in our lives: Avengers: Age of Ultron star Jeremy Renner singing about Hawkeye’s feelings.

Avengers: Age of Ultron finally hits cinemas this Friday, May 1, and the stars are wrapping up their promotional tour.

Jeremy Renner appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night to talk about Hawkeye… but why talk, when you can sing?

Renner brilliantly parodies Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” changing the words to fit his character. Check it out:

“Listen, I’ve got powers too, and they’re pretty sweet,” Renner implores. “I promise I can do so much more than just archery. I’m serious, guys.”

And damn, who knew he had such pipes? If we weren’t already obsessed with Hawkeye, this would definitely tip us over the edge.

The hilarious song sees Renner, as Hawkeye, implore the audience to take him seriously as an Avenger, who is just as worthy of a player as Thor, Captain America and the other superheroes.

Poor Hawkeye is often overlooked, it’s true, but we’re thinking that won’t be the case after Avengers: Age of Ultron!
