X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer continues to reveal fun images from the set. This time, he’s grabbed a hold of Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult!

Bryan Singer is currently filming X-Men: Apocalypse series, set to continue and close out major story arcs established in Days of Future Past.

Most of the major cast members are returning for Apocalypse, including Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Nicholas Hoult (Beast), who recently stopped to take a selfie with their director:

Lawrence and Hoult are both playing younger versions of their characters, and will be joined in Apocalypse by younger versions of Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Storm (Alexandra Shipp).

X-Men: Apocalypse will also bring back James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as Professor X and Magneto, and as the movie is set in the alternate past established by Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) in Days of Future Past, it is still unclear whether Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will cameo as the original versions of the characters.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be released on May 27, 2016. Jennifer Lawrence has previously stated that this will be her final X-Men movie.

The cinematic universe will continue to expand, however, with Josh Boone set to direct the first spinoff movie titled The New Mutants.
