Jennifer Aniston may have just found her next big screen project.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Jennifer Aniston is currently in talks to star in an upcoming comedy centered around suburban parents.

The film, which is being produced by STXfilms, currently has no title, but we do know that it is set to center around “an over-scheduled and over-burdened suburban couple [who] go to great lengths to try to recapture the fun of their youth.”

If negotiations go through, Aniston will work alongside Sophie Goodhart (My Blind Brother director), who has already signed on to write and direct the upcoming suburban parent comedy.

This isn’t STXfilms’ first foray into parental comedies. The production company struck gold with last year’s Bad Moms. Similar to the comedy we could be seeing Aniston star in, Bad Moms followed three over-worked parents (Kristen Bell, Christina Applegate, and Mila Kunis) who decide to ditch their day-to-day responsibilities in favor of having a bit of fun.

Bad Moms performed so well, that the studio has already slated a sequel, set to come out later this year. Bad Moms 2 (officially titled A Bad Moms Christmas) will find Amy, Carla, and Kiki struggling to get along with their own mothers when they come to pay a visit for the holidays.

Additionally, we learned just last October that STX is also in the process of working on a gender-flipped spinoff called Bad Dads.

It definitely sounds like STX is putting a lot of stock in this bored suburban parent trope. We guess we’ll just have to wait and see how they spin their upcoming Aniston comedy to make it stand out against some of the other movies they’ve got coming down the pipeline.
