James McAvoy, who will reprise his role as Charles Xavier in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, says that there’s a lot in store for the next X-Men movie!

Speaking to MTV UK, James had this to say about Days of Future Past:

“Getting us together with Sir Patrick, Sir Ian, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry and all that as well, and with Jennifer [Lawrence] and Nick [Hoult] coming back… It’s gonna be nuts.”

He went on to talk about the script and what’s in store for the large ensemble Avengers-like cast:

“I’ve read the script, it’s really good, really, really amazing work. Doing that thing that X-Men films normally do quite well actually, which is taking a massive group of characters and giving them all their time, which is a difficult trick to pull off.”

This installment will be set in the seventies, which McAvoy is excited about:

“I’m looking forward to it, it’s gonna be cool. And also it’s set in the seventies and the seventies is cool – so that’s going to be fun.”

We recently learned that Halle Berry will reprise her role as Storm in this movie, giving X-Men fans an extra bolt of excitement to flock to theaters next summer.
