Mackenzie Foy, most known for playing Bella and Edward’s daughter Renesmee in Twilight, is joining Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar‘s, um, stellar cast.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mackenzie Foy is in final negotiations to join Interstellar, Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi film.

The cast she joins is impressive and can only help her young career. Her co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, and Casey Affleck easily make up the most talented cast she’s ever worked with. Interstellar will not only be a great résumé builder for the young actress, but it should be good exposure to real acting for her too.

As we previously told you, Interstellar “centers on the discovery of an energy source from the Hawking radiation from a nearby black hole. Extra-dimensional beings that control the black hole may also exist in the plot. Several plot points are allusions to general relativity and parts of Thorne’s research, including the gravitational red shift that occurs when the character is close to the vicinity of the black hole.” Nolan is known for his films making you think (see: Inception, Memento, The Prestige), so this sounds like him.

Interstellar is set to be released on November 7, 2014.

Do you think Mackenzie Foy makes a good addition to ‘Interstellar’?
