We all remember the glory days of ’90s television: Guts, Clarissa Explains it All, All That (original cast … obviously), Hey Arnold and a myriad of others. Just because these shows were viciously ripped from primetime does not mean they have to die, so check out these cheap gifts for any ’90s television aficionado in your life.

Guts Video Game for Super NintendoFull disclosure: We scoured the internet for literally hours to see if it’s possible to buy a piece of the infamous aggro crag… sadly, it’s not available for purchase. Instead we found this Nickelodeon Guts video game for Super Nintendo (which is a throwback in and of itself) available for around $10. At least you can give the gift of the virtual crag. We just hope it’s still narrated by Mo.

Legends of the Hidden Temple T-Shirts

We all had a favorite team back then (I always considered myself a Blue Barracuda), and now, for only $18 a piece, you and your friends can all dress as the Legends of the Hidden Temple teams. Remember to wear elbow and kneepads to complete the ensemble, and please try to make it through the Temple Run without getting captured by the terrifying Temple Guards. Did it ever seem to you that almost no one ever won? (Rigged?!)

Nick Classics on DVD

The Nick Classics website was a real find. You can purchase the full DVD collections of the following shows: Are You Afraid of the Dark, All That, Legends of The Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Kenan and Kel, Guts and others for less than $50! Word to the wise: Make sure you order the DVDs in the sealed box set or they won’t come in a box at all. Unfortunately, I know this from experience. Shows not available on this website such as Clarissa Explains it All and Hey Arnold are available for purchase on Amazon.

Doug Funnie T-Shirt and Pins

For all the Doug Funnie fans in your life or for anyone that remembers The Beets, a collection of Doug pins is available for only $7. If that’s not enough for your Doug lover, we also found a fabulous Quailman T-shirt for only $22. If only we could purchase his belt and figure out just how it stayed on his head in such an artful fashion.

Nickelodeon Slime

How can we not love the slime that appeared on You Can’t Do That on Television, Figure it Out, Double Dare, and Slime Time Live? While you can’t buy the actual slime itself, we found a slime shooter for $45 and a slime ball for $8. Just remember—if you dump slime on a friend, target them continuously (and be sure to call them the Danny Tamberelli of the group).

Hey Arnold The Movie Poster

We know, we know, it would be way better if this poster was just for the television show, but the poster for the movie is the only one currently on the market. It still features our favorite cast members (except Stoop Kid) and is available for $20. Use the poster to help a friend start an Arnold shrine in their closet and give them all of your used chewing gum too.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete Throw Pillows

The throw pillows feature the Orange Lazarus drink, the Wellsville High School Fighting Squid, the Kreb Star and the phrase “Inspected by 34.” Each pillow is available for $20 and just think: you could gift the whole set! (Just make sure the Orange Lazarus pillow can’t control your mind like the drink could.)

Saved By The Bell Sweatshirts

It doesn’t matter what high school you attended; we are all Bayside Tigers at heart. For the females who loved Zack, Slater or even Screech, try the $35 cut off sweatshirt. And for the men who drooled over Kelly, Lisa or Jessie, try the $34 pullover. Then instruct your friend to spend the day causing trouble (as long as they avoid being caught by Principal Belding).

Clarissa Explains it All and All That Albums

Our favorite ’90s TV shows featured some serious jams. (Remember the concerts at the end of All That?) The All That album, featuring Brandy and Coolio, is available for $15. The other featured album is the band from Clarissa Explains it All, Clarissa and the Straightjackets. The CD, This is What ‘Na Na’ Means is available for around $20. Don’t lie. You now kind of want to know what ‘Na Na’ means.

Jesse and the Rippers T-Shirt

“What ever happened to predictability? The milk man, the paper boy, evening TV?” Who can forget that theme song? But more importantly, who can forget the greasy-haired Uncle Jesse and his infamous band, Jesse and the Rippers? For those who will never forget, purchase this $18 t-shirt for their stockings.

I won’t lie, just writing this blog post took me back. Back to a time when I would rush home from school or wake up extra early just to catch an episode of good ole’ Nickelodeon. As I get older and the world becomes steadily more complicated, it’s nice to remember the innocence and predictability of childhood. Childhood television that is. I even came across these fabulous Nickelodeon minimalist posters (not for sale) that everyone can turn to on a rainy day.

So give the gift of innocence this Christmas in the form of ’90s television paraphernalia.

What gifts will you give to your ’90s-loving friend? And which ’90s show was your favorite? (I think mine may have to be Hey Arnold or Rugrats… though how can I pick just a few?)

What other gift guides would you like to see from the Hypable team?
