Hulu’s upcoming adaptation of Nine Perfect Strangers has added another cast member to its ranks.

Update (7/22/2020): According to Deadline, actress Tiffany Boone has officially joined the cast of the upcoming adaptation.

Boone, who some might recognize for her work on Hunters and Little Fires Everywhere, will star opposite Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy in the upcoming Nine Perfect Strangers limited series.

Others who’ve also previously joined the cast of the Hulu limited series include Luke Evans, Melvin Gregg, Samara Weaving, and Grace Van Patten.

Based off of the book of the same name by author Liane Moriarty (who also authored Big Little Lies, the story is set at a boutique health and wellness resort and follows nine visitors from the big city looking to change their lives.

In the Hulu limited series, Boone will take on the character of Delilah— one of the Tranquillum wellness resort’s employees.

Currently, there’s no specific release date set for the upcoming series, but it’s expected to premiere exclusively via Hulu sometime in 2021.

Melissa McCarthy is gearing up to join Nicole Kidman in Hulu’s upcoming limited series adaptation of Nine Perfect Strangers.

According to Deadline, Melissa McCarthy has officially joined the cast of Nine Perfect Strangers, a brand new limited series coming down the pipeline at Hulu.

The limited series is based off of the book of the same name by author Liane Moriarty, who also wrote Big Little Lies, which is currently being adapted as a limited series over at HBO.

Nine Perfect Strangers is set at a boutique health and wellness resort that promises visitors healing and transformation, and follows nine visitors from the city looking to destress and adopt a healthier lifestyle.

McCarthy herself will be playing one of the nine city dwellers who come to the resort. She joins previously announced cast member Nicole Kidman, who will play Masha, the resort’s director.

Both Kidman and McCarthy will also serve as executive producers on the limited series adaptation, in addition to starring in the project.

Others involved behind the camera on Nine Perfect Strangers include co-writers David E. Kelley, John Henry Butterworth, and Samantha Strauss. Kelley and Butterworth will also serve as co-showrunners on the series.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect Nine Perfect Strangers to premiere via Hulu.
