Netflix head Ted Sarandos confirmed on an investor call Monday morning that House of Cards season 6 is moving forward without Kevin Spacey.

The new season of House of Cards will star Robin Wright and will be eight episodes long. “We’re very excited we were able to come to a good creative conclusion” to House of Cards, Sarandos said.

Production was halted in October after several people came forward accusing Spacey of sexual misconduct. Some of the stories about the star concerned his time on the set of the Netflix Original Series. Regardless, the streamer was planning on this forthcoming season being the show’s last.

Sarandos did not comment on how Spacey’s Frank Underwood will be written out of the show. Needless to say, it’ll be interesting to see what the show has come up with. Claire was already in a position to take over the White House by the end of season 5, so presumably Netflix will be taking advantage of that opportunity.
