Homeland season 2 Blu-ray will be coming to your home collections in September, 20th Century Fox has announced.
The series has won 6 Emmy awards, including Outstanding Lead Actress for Claire Danes, Outstanding Lead Actor for Damian Lewis and Outstanding Drama Series.
Fans will be delighted that the second season will arrive on Blu-ray just before Homeland season 3 premieres on Showtime on September 29, 2013. This will give fans plenty of time to catch up on one of television’s most popular dramas.
The second season on Blu-ray will pack a massive 630 minutes of viewing whilst including a series of special features that contain a prologue for the third season. Deleted scenes will also be included, as well as filming in Israel, and how they filmed the Homeland season 2 finale.
Fans will have to realise that this will be potentially the last we will see of Nicolas Brody for a fair while, after Homeland‘s executives claimed that Homeland season 3 will focus less on Brody.
Homeland season 3 will lean further towards the lives of Carrie Mathison and Saul Berenson after a tragic and traumatic ending in the Homeland season 2 finale in which David Estes and several other characters were killed off in an explosion at the Vice President’s funeral.
Homeland season 3 is currently being filmed, and will return to Showtime for its debut on September 29, 2013.
