HBO’s Succession season 3 is adding yet another notable name to its cast.
Update (5/5/21): Deadline reports that Academy Award winner Adrien Brody is the latest star to join the cast of Succession season 3 over at HBO.
Brody has joined the cast of the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award winning series in a guest starring role.
Specifically, he’ll be taking on the role of a billionaire activist investor named Josh Aaronson. Fans of the series can expect to see Josh play a huge role when it comes to the battle over who will end up taking ownership of Waystar.
News of Adrien Brody’s involvement in the series’s highly anticipated third season comes hot on the heels of word that Emmy Award winner Alexander Skarsgård has also joined the cast of season 3.

Original Story (5/3/21): Succession season 3 is gearing up to welcome Alexander Skarsgård to its cast.
According to Variety, actor Alexander Skarsgård has officially joined the cast of Succession season 3 over at HBO.
Succession marks the actor’s latest role as part of a slew of HBO’s biggest original series to date. Most recently, Skarsgård scored a huge win at the Emmys for his work on the critically acclaimed limited series, Big Little Lies. Prior to that, he portrayed fan favorite Eric Northman on True Blood.
For Succession season 3, Alexander Skarsgård will take on the role of Lukas Matsson. Lukas is a successful tech founder and a CEO who has no problem getting confrontational.

The Emmy Award winning actor joins returning cast members Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, and Rob Yang, all of whom are already on board to return for the series’s highly anticipated third season.
HBO has yet to announce when we can expect to see new episodes premiere, but production on Succession season 3 is currently happening right now in New York City.
As for Alexander Skarsgård, fans can catch him currently starring in the blockbuster action thriller, Godzilla vs. Kong, streaming now on HBO Max.
