In a recent interview, Grey’s Anatomy star Jason George teased that a breakup is possible for the power couple!

Grey’s Anatomy is preparing for Ben to make a change in his career and at the same time head over to the new spinoff. After helping with the big fire from last season Ben has been inspired to become a firefighter, but was trying to keep it a secret from his wife.
Of course, it was hard for Bailey not to notice that her husband was working out way more than usual and the truth eventually came out. Needless to say, Bailey is not happy with Ben at all. She doesn’t understand why he wants to put himself in danger and throw away his medical career.
In an interview with TV Line, Jason George revealed that is seems like a breakup is “a genuine possibility” and that “nothing lasts forever.”
But that doesn’t mean a breakup is a sure thing, George also said that, “Best-case scenario is, it gets real hot, and that’s meant both for the pun and about their relationship. That’s as good as Ben can hope for.”
Of course, if the couple does stick it out through this transition I could totally see it being a good thing for them. Working together has been hard on them in the past with Ben’s desire to chase adrenaline, which sometimes means he doesn’t make the best decisions. Maybe this change is just what the couple needs to make it last?
