Green Day takes the lyrics literally in the newly released video for “Stray Heart” – the first single off ¡Dos!.

The band only makes appearances in the video in vinyl form, as a womanizer searches the city for his straying heart. He doesn’t realize it’s missing until his girlfriend notices the hole in his chest when he stops by to deliver some Green Day records as a gift (to make up for his infidelity, no doubt). Starring Leven Rambin, known for her role as Glimmer in The Hunger Games, as the womanizer’s heartbroken girlfriend, the music video follows the man as he runs after his heart – which looks like a tiny person with a heart for a head.

“I’ve said it a thousand times/ And now a thousand one/ We’ll never part/ I’ll never stray again from you/ This dog is destined for a home to your heart,” sings frontman Billie Joe Armstrong as our main character finds his heart in another woman’s bed.

¡Dos! is streaming in its entirety until the album’s release Nov. 13. ¡Tre! – the final installment in the album trilogy – is due Dec. 11. The release date was moved up about a month after the Bay-area band cancelled all its remaining shows this year to give Armstrong time to seek substance abuse treatment.

¡Dos! follows ¡Uno! – the first installment in the album trilogy – which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. It produced singles in “Oh Love,” “Kill the DJ” and “Let Yourself Go.” The trilogy is the band’s first new material since 2009′s Grammy-winning 21st Century Breakdown.
