With only a couple weeks left until the highly-anticipated Glee season 5, episode 1 premiere, Fox has released a batch of first-look photos!
Following the tragic passing of Cory Monteith over the summer, showrunner and executive producer Ryan Murphy announced that the third episode of Glee season 5 will be a Cory Monteith tribute. He also announced that the first two episodes of the season will be Beatles tribute episodes. We get to see the glory of what exactly those Beatles episodes are going to look like in the images released below! Check out images released for the season 5 premieretitled “Love, Love, Love.”
Some fans had mixed reactions to finding out that Glee would be covering arguably the most influential musical act of all time. However, what most fans forget is that Glee has already covered some Beatles songs in the past – but never tributed them.
It’s very exciting to see the cast of Glee back doing their thing with smiles on their faces too!
Glee season 5 premieres Thursday, September 26th at 9/8c on Fox. The original premiere date was pushed back 1 week after the passing of Cory Monteith set production back. We’ve also learned recently that the show is currently filming that Cory Monteith tribute episode and that there will be a hiatus for an undetermined amount of time once shooting has wrapped.
