The Gilmore Girls Netflix revival finally has an official title! Lauren Graham dropped by Ellen to reveal the news.

The first promotional art for the highly anticipated Gilmore Girls Netflix revival is here! Running across the studio lot to see Ellen Degeneres, Lauren Graham spilled the beans on the official title of the show– Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Much better than the placeholder Seasons!

New artwork for the series also hit the internet tonight and features the signature cup of coffee that we are sure to see in the hands of plenty of Stars Hollows’ finest when they return.

After popping her shoes back on, Lauren Graham spoke about her return to the set of Gilmore Girls and how even though the show wrapped eight years ago walking on set felt like she was just there yesterday.

“It’s been the most incredible experience. I cry just trying to talk about it… I love this character so much and I had the same feeling I had when I first opened this script which was such a deep connection,” says Graham about stepping back into the shoes of Lorelai Gilmore. You can watch the brief, yet exciting interview below!

The series will pick up in real time, eight years after the events of the finale with nearly everyone returning to Stars Hollow. Yes, even Sookie! Each installment is named after a season starting with Winter and working its way through Spring and Summer before wrapping up in the Fall. No announcement yet on when the series will hit Netflix or if it will be a staggered release.
