Hamilton creator and beloved human being Lin-Manuel Miranda has created a Galentine’s Day music playlist for women who want to celebrate each other’s friendship.
Galentine’s Day was coined by Parks & Rec’s Leslie Knope back in 2010 and caught on in a major way. It’s celebrated the day before Valentine’s Day.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Galentine’s Day playlist was the perfect Monday morning surprise. It includes Destiny’s Child, Bebe, Ali Dineen, Ingrid Michaelson, Florence, and a song from Moana. By the way: Lin encourages you to listen to his playlist in order (“I put HOURS into sequencing the mixes. Can’t help it,” he tweeted).
