Netflix’s Song Exploder docuseries will soon offer up a glimpse as to how some of the biggest names in music went about creating their most memorable hits.

Music fans will definitely want to keep an eye out for Song Exploder— a brand new documentary series coming soon to Netflix that finds the likes of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Alicia Keys and more telling the stories behind how they made some of their biggest hits.

The series, which debuts in October, is based on the hit podcast of the same name from host Hirshikesh Hirway and Oscar winning filmmaker Morgan Neville.

As part of the series, each episode will feature some of the world’s greatest musicians as they reveal how they brought one of their songs to life.

Per the official synopsis, Song Exploder “weaves together in-depth interviews, archival footage, and raw recordings as each artist breaks down their song, layer by layer, sharing intimate insight into the personal inspiration behind the music and lyrics.

The first trailer for the docuseries offers up a glimpse of some of the big names set to take part. Check it out below!

Musicians set to appear as part of Song Exploder include Alicia Keys, who breaks down “3 Hour Drive,” Lin-Manuel Miranda, who dissects “Wait For It” from his Tony Award winning musical Hamilton,” R.E.M., who talks the iconic hit “Losing My Religion,” and Ty Dolla $ign, who breaks down “LA.”

Song Exploder debuts exclusively via Netflix on October 2.
