X-Men: Days of Future Past director, Bryan Singer, has tweeted the first official image of Halle Berry as her character Storm.

It’s been nearly a month since it was confirmed that Halle Berry would be reprising her role as Storm in X-Men: Days of Future Past, and now director Bryan Singer has tweeted the first official photo of her in character. Check out the first official image of Storm below:

Fans of the X-Men franchise will be excited for a return of Storm as she was definitely a fan-favorite during the first three X-Men movies. Berry had also gone on record saying that she wasn’t sure if she ever saw herself playing the character again in future sequels of X-Men movies, but she has had a change of heart. We imagine that working with Bryan Singer again was a major reason for her return to the role, as she worked with him in the first two X-Men films.

We look forward to the film which is chock-full of all-star cast members including Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page (Shadowcat), Anna Paquin (Rogue), Shawn Ashmore (Iceman), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), and Michael Fassbender (Magneto).

Singer has taken an interesting approach to keeping fans informed with the filming of X-Men: Days of Future Past, by tweeting loads of set photos, and although some are difficult to decipher it definitely gives fans fun tidbits to chew on until the film hits theaters July 18, 2014.
