Famed music icon Dolly Parton is continuing her partnership with Netflix— this time, with an all new heartfelt movie set to debut just in time for the Christmas season.

When Christmas on the Square debuts, viewers will be introduced to Regina Fuller (Christine Baranski)— a scrooge-like woman who returns to her small hometown following the death of her father to evict everyone and sell the land to a small developer.

To make matters worse for the townsfolk, Regina arrives right before Christmas, hellbent on clearing everyone out. What she doesn’t expect is to experience a change of heart after listening to stories from the locals, reconnecting with an old love, and accepting advice from an actual angel (Parton).

The music icon previously worked with the streaming giant on Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings— an anthology series that took inspiration from some of the recording artists’ greatest hits to tell different tales.

Also starring Jenifer Lewis and Treat Williams, Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square debuts via Netflix on November 22.
