A second quote from Veronica Roth’s final book in her Divergent trilogy titled Allegiant has been released.

This selection is particularly interesting because it’s the first time we’re seeing a quote from within Four’s head. The lead character will share the point-of-view duty with Tris when the book hits store shelves on October 22.

The quote reads: “Sometimes I still forget to look for the gentler parts of her. For so long all I saw was the strength, standing out like the wiry muscles in her arms or the black ink marking her collarbone with flight.”

Four is obviously talking about his beau Tris who he struggles romantically with over the first two books despite both of them being interested in one another. Roth announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July that the book would be from both Tris and Four’s perspectives.

As fans gear up for the release of Allegiant, Roth has plans to keep them occupied. The first in a series of four short stories following Four was released last week, and in late August the first Allegiant quote was unveiled.

The first Divergent teaser trailer was released at the MTV Video Music Awards in late August and offered our best look yet at the movie. It opens in theaters this March.

Do you like these Allegiant quote previews so far or would you rather just wait for the book to read them for yourself?
