They keep coming! Today we’re learning Disney is now at work on a live-action Mulan.

The development of a live-action Mulan is the latest in a quickly growing line up live-action retellings Disney is preparing for the next several years. According to THR, who broke the news, Disney has purchased a script from Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek, which “centers on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, the female warrior who was the main character in Disney’s 1998 animated film.”

Disney has already set The Jungle Book for 2016 and Beauty and the Beast for 2017. Dates for the live-action Dumbo and Mulan are currently not set, but given the current trajectory it seems likely they’ll be aiming for one of these to be released every year.

The news comes two weeks after Disney’s live-action Cinderella opened in theaters and received high praise from critics and fans alike. The Lily James-led film followed in the footsteps of live-action retellings of Alice in Wonderland and Maleficent.

Just two days ago Saturday Night Live spoofed Disney’s recent string of live-action announcements by creating a hilarious live-action Bambi inspired by the Fast & Furious franchise.

Presumably Disney will include the songs featured in the animated version, as the studio is doing for Beauty and the Beast. Two of Mulan’s most memorable songs are “Reflection” and “I’ll Make a Man Out of You.” After the success of Frozen, it’d be crazy not to include unforgettable songs in these new Disney films:
