Frozen actor Josh Gad has officially joined the cast of Disney’s live-action movie adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, and he’ll be playing Gaston’s sidekick LeFou.

The actor tweeted a picture of him standing (read: dancing) next to the character after THR broke the news. Now that he’s in the Disney family, it’s likely we’ll see more of the actor in Disney’s upcoming films, including more voice work.

Gad is a great singer, as proven by his work in Frozen voicing Olaf. He should be able to nail the Beauty and the Beast song “Gaston” perfectly.

The actor, who is reprising his Olaf role in Disney’s recently announced Frozen sequel, and its new short, Frozen Fever, can be seen in front of the studio’s live-action Cinderella, which hits theaters today.

Actor Luke Evans signed on at the beginning of March to portray Gaston in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, with Harry Potter star Emma Watson signing on to play Belle in January.

Dan Stevens, best known for playing Matthew Crawley on the PBS show Downton Abbey, signed on to play the Beast in the film the same day that Evans joined the cast.

Bill Condon is directing Disney’s Beauty and the Beast adaptation, with the script being written by Stephen Chbosky, who directed Emma Watson in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast continues in a pattern of live-action adaptations the studio has been developing in recent years. Disney have enjoyed success with Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent, and this weekend’s Cinderella, which were all only known previously for their animated films.
