Dexter is re-airing every single episode each Friday evening over on Showtime 2/2HD with four hours worth of Dexter each time.

Dexter has been through a hell of a lot since its premiere way back in October, 2006. Since then, die hard fans have seen the show go from strength to strength and has amassed a total of seven seasons to date, with the eighth beginning its pre-production right now.

Although many of the fans hardcore following it will have barely taken their eyes off the accumulative seven seasons, Showtime are rolling back the years by re-airing every single episode up until June 30 when season 8 premieres.

This will be fantastic news for all fans, with Showtime giving fans the opportunity to relive all of the kills and thrills that has been brought to us over the years. But, crucially, it gives fans the opportunity to catch up on an episode or two they might have missed down the line. It’s a brilliant move from Showtime which slots in perfectly for a Friday evening. Is there anything better than watching four hours worth of Dexter?

Showtime began this schedule this past Friday, so the first four episodes of season have been aired. But, you’ll still be able to catch all of the best of Dexter as the best is still yet to come, and viewers new to the show will be able to sink their teeth into it fairly quickly.

What was your favourite Dexter season? Are there any that you are particularly desperate to relive over again? Or, did season 7 just kill Dexter for you?

Be sure to check out Showtime 2/2HD every Friday evening to get a mouthwatering four hours worth of Dexter starting at 8PM ET/PT.
