The final season of Dear White People at Netflix has added Rome Flynn to its cast.

According to Deadline, actor Rome Flynn is the latest to join the cast of the upcoming fourth and final season of Netflix’s Dear White People.

Flynn (who some may recognize from his work on How To Get Away With Murder) will be taking on the role of David in the series’ forthcoming final season.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be too many details out just yet with regards to how David will fit into the fold of the story. One thing we do know though, is that Flynn has been added in a recurring role, meaning we’ll likely be seeing quite a bit of David when classes pick back up again at Winchester University.

Rome Flynn’s casting comes on the heels of word that Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown has also joined the cast of Dear White People season 4 in a recurring role.

As with Flynn’s casting, details about Brown’s role are also scarce.

Dear White People, which first debuted back in 2017 was renewed for its fourth and final season back in October 2019.

At the time, showrunner and series creator Justin Simien (who based the series off of his indie comedy film of the same name) said he was looking forward to bringing fans a “celebratory” finale.

“I’m so grateful my little indie-that-could has made it to four seasons at Netflix,” said Simien via a statement with regards to the series’ forthcoming conclusion. “This show, along with many talented storytellers it has brought into my orbit, has changed my life and I can’t wait to create a celebratory final volume benefitting such a transformative experience.”

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect to see Dear White People season 4 premiere via Netflix.
