Daisy Ridley is gearing up to share the big screen with Kristin Scott Thomas and Nina Hoss.

According to Deadline, actors Daisy Ridley, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Nina Hoss have all joined the cast of director Jane Anderson’s Women In The Castle.

Based on the 2017 New York Times best selling book by Jessica Shattuck of the same name, the World War II era tale focuses on three widows whose deceased husbands were all conspirators involved in an assassination attempt on Hitler.

The story spans over the years of the Second World War and beyond and shines a spotlight on each wife, all of whom deal with the aftermath of what transpired in different ways.

Ridley (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), Thomas (Darkest Hour), and Hoss (Phoenix) will each play one of the three wives in question, though it’s currently unclear as to who will assume the role of which character.

Behind the camera, Academy Award nominee Jane Anderson will direct, in addition to adapting Shattuck’s novel into a script for the film.

Meanwhile, Rosalie Swedlin, Doreen Wilcox Little, and Michael Scheel will all serve as producers on the project.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect Women In The Castle to debut, but production on the film is slated to begin out in Western Europe sometime next year.

As for Daisy Ridley, the actress has been keeping quite busy since wrapping up on Star Wars.

Coming up next, she’ll be starring opposite Tom Holland, Mads Mikkelsen, and Nick Jonas in the sci-fi adventure, Chaos Walking (due out January 22, 2021).
