Disney’s new live action Mulan will come equipped with a brand new rendition of “Reflection,” once again recorded by Christina Aguilera!

It looks like Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan will come equipped with at least one of the hit songs from the original animated classic!

On Wednesday night during her Las Vegas residency, Xperience, Christina Aguilera took a moment to reveal to those in attendance that she has officially re-recorded “Reflection” for Disney’s forthcoming live-action adaptation.

As if that news weren’t exciting enough, the powerhouse vocalist also teased that “Reflection” isn’t the only thing she recorded for the new movie.

“The live-action Mulan is coming out, by the way,” the singer can be heard saying in a video that surfaced of the moment from her Las Vegas residency. “You can go see it. I recorded a new ‘Reflection,’ and new material for the movie. I’ve been working on that, but this is the original.”

Christina Aguilera recorded the original version of “Reflection” at the age of 17. The ballad, which was released in 1998, ended up serving as her first official single (“Genie In A Bottle” followed in 1999), so the fact that she’s returned to re-record the song serves as a bit of a full circle moment.

As for the re-recorded version, it was especially interesting to hear Aguilera mention to those in attendance at Wednesday night’s Xperience show that she was going to perform “the original” version for them that night.

It definitely makes us wonder what sort of changes were made to the iconic ballad for the new version.

Additionally, we’ll also be especially excited to find out what other bits and pieces she recorded for the film since she hinted at that as well!

Disney’s live-action Mulan opens in theaters on March 27.
