Chris Pine has just lined up his next big screen role.

According to Variety, actor Chris Pine has officially signed on to star up Tarik Saleh’s upcoming film, Violence of Action.

Written by J.P Davis, the upcoming action-thriller will find Pine playing a man who finds himself involuntarily discharged from the Marines and winds up joining a parliamentary organization to make ends meet.

A black ops mission with his new team to Poland to investigate a mysterious threat turns into a nightmare when the ex-marine suddenly finds himself alone and being hunted. From there, he must figure out how to survive long enough to make it back to America.

Only then will he stand any chance of getting to the bottom of who ordered the attack on him in the first place.

Currently, there’s no word on when we can expect Violence of Action to premiere. That being said, Pine fans won’t have to wait long before they can catch the actor back on the big screen.

Coming up next, Pine is set to reprise his role as Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman 1984. The highly anticipated next installment of the Wonder Woman franchise is due out in theaters on June 5, 2020.

Currently, fans of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse star can catch him starring in Sam Sheridan’s TNT mini series, I Am the Night.
